Hundreds of thousands of pounds in value points are still waiting to be collected by members of staff with a little over a month to go before they are lost forever.

In a previous email to members we reported that Lloyds would be moving its Game Changers Marketplace to a new platform.

We know that thousands of members have recognition points which they’ve been saving for a long time. The new platform will not recognise those points so it’s important they are used by 31st October 2025.

Members should note that unredeemed or unspent points will expire on 31st October 2025 and WILL NOT BE TRANSFERRED TO THE NEW PLATFORM. So, if you don’t use them, you’ll lose them.

The Bank also needs be honest and transparent with staff making it clear in no uncertain terms what’s going to happen if the points are not redeemed.

Long Term Sick & Maternity Leavers

Members of staff on long term sick or maternity leave must be contacted by line managers. Those individuals will be given external access to enable them to log into the recognition platform to redeem their points.

Members on long term sick and maternity who have not yet been contacted by their line managers must contact them immediately – by email – asking how they can access their recognition points. So, there is an audit trail members should communicate everything via email. Telephone conversations can easily be forgotten. Claiming (honestly) afterwards that you had an assurance that you can’t prove won’t work with the people running Lloyds in 2025!

Members with any questions should contact the Union’s Advice Team on 01234 262868 (choose option 1).

MEMBERS SHOULD PASS THIS NEWSLETTER ON TO THEIR COLLEAGUES SO THEY TOO CAN BENEFIT FROM THE ONLY INDEPENDENT TRADE UNION IN LLOYDS AND HALIFAX
